1 heaping T. Paprika
1 lb Fresh Gulf Shrimp, Peeled & Deveined
2 Limes cut into 8 pieces
1/8 t. Cayenne Pepper
½ t. Onion Powder
Juice of 1 Lime
1T. Garlic Paste
Salt and Pepper
Wooden Skewers soaked in water for 15 minutes
1. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients except the lime and shrimp
2. Add Shrimp and coat with rub. Skewer shrimp and limes, alternating between the two.
3. Preheat grill to medium heat and grill each skewer for about 1 ½ minutes each side. Serve.
*This was a great appetizer, smoky with slight heat. The lime squeezed over the top added great acidity. Easy, light and refreshing for a hot summer night.
